Like KFC but with a nicer seating
So yesterday me and AJ where about to celebrate my new unemployment by going out for a meal for the very last time in a long, long time. So as usual we went to Tootsies in Putney with their marinated prawns in mind but then it turnes out that they have closed. FOREVER! The place was up for sale and everything! I know that its another one of my luxury problems, but I HAVE to have those prawns again! I have heard a rumor that there is other Tootsies out there, so will look them up today!
Anyway so we ended up at “The Real Greek” on Putney Highstreet and it was pure shit! Their prawns tasted like rubber and slightly of meat. Then I realised that I must have grilled the prawns on the same grill that they use for meat. Not good. And the souvlaki! Jeez! It came in a wrap with paper around it, and tasted shit. We could have gotten a better (and cheaper) meal at KFC across the street goddamnit! So afterward we went to Carluccios just to get some nice food in us.
Anyway got very very drunk on one bottle of champagne and one bottle of wine and had a rather pleasant evening after the greek eek.
Tomorrows Halloween and I still havent decided if I should go to Al’s party or the Tarantino one. Everyone keeps telling me that I should go for the Tarantino one, but right now I rather think I’ll go to Al’s instead. Even if it is in Hackney (jeez Al, could you live further away??). On sunday Im going to one of thos “get to know your boyfriend’s family”-dinners…that should be interesting…
