That short little elf creep me out
I am once again sorry for not posting very much latley. Im blaming work. Had a rather nice, but dull weekend in…again. Due to no money me and AJ stayed in all weekend. Well AJ’s friend R came by on friday night and I really liked him. Hes very funny and all. So that was nice. Yesterday I went through the BIG test with dinner with AJs mum and his brother N. I think I passed thou. Today I found out that im from now on and a couple a weeks going, are going to sit in the reception until they find a replacement for our current receptionist who’s sadly leaving on wednesday. This means I will have two jobs at the same time! AND start earlier, but leave the same time as usual! Wohoo! No but seriously, Im quite happy about it. Will give me more stuff to do. The thing is that its temporary so it can be that I will sit there for a week or for three months. You never really know…
On thursday on the train home btw, I sat opposite to the gayest boy in Surrey. He was talking loudly on the phone. Now about people talking on the phone on public transports…I have to confess that Im quite annoying mysefl, cause I have the bad habit of reading magazines over other passangers shoulders. Well, actually I also read ipods, phones, newspapers and so on. I hate hate hate when people do this to me, but its a bad behaviour thats very hard to get rid of! I do die a little everytime I do it, but it feels sooo good! That feeling that you think that your fellow passanger doesnt notice, but off course they do, every time!
ANYWAY! My point was that even if im annoying in that way, I NEVER use my phone on the train. Even if someone would call me I would then anwser and say that Ill call them back. Thats how annoying I find that behaviour. And it seemed like this little boy had no thoughts about it at all! Apparently he works as a hairdresser and said following qoutes:
“Ive given like six haircuts today! Its like so hard, thou!”
“My new house is well nice”
“She’s, like, sooo nice”
“See you on sunday then, yeah? Bye!” (the “bye” part was in falsetto.)
I was laughing so hard I had to hide behind a book.
So…time for getting the story together ie wtf about my title? Let me tell you a story of creepy short people, or one in particular.
Every day I change my train in Clapham Junction and every day on my way home I see this very very short person that is wearing a hooded, military patterned coat and very baggy jeans. I always thought that this little person was a boy, but no. Last week I saw the mystery figure take off the hood and it turned out to be a 35-ish woman with mousy hair and librarian glasses. Was a bit surprised, must say. Anyway, got on the train and managed to get a seat. Looked up and shortie was standing there and she gave me a look that creeped me out! And then I saw it…her nails (real ones, no plastic) was long and sharpened! Talk about scary! I felt like she was gonna jump me and claw my eyes out with those things! God knows she can!
Im having quite a busy week this week. Today is grocery shopping and cooking for that “im-eating-for-three-people”-boyfriend I have and thats gonna take time.
Tuesday its meetings and meetings, deciding my future. On wednesday Im going to an expo, should be…fun? And then I have a meeting discussing mortgages (grown-up points!!). Thursday is my first day in the reception and the “The Streets” concert Im going to with IL. Friday is bday thing for J and saturday possible hangout with Matt??
Ah, life!
xx
how can you make so nice blog !
