Spam

Sorry for not bloging, but Im doing two jobs at the same time. No! Not the naughty kind! Im still working with my website and right now Im also working as a receptionist due to ours leaving and we havent found a new one yet.

Problem is, I still dont know the names of everyone here which makes it harder when people I dont know just when the pass by say “can you order us a taxi?”. And then just expect me to know, who they are, where they are going and when. Ah, well.

Yesterday I was supposed to see “The Streets” on Brixton Academy so right after work, I rushed home to IL and quickly drank lots of wine while putting on my make up and rolling cigarettes and talking to IL at the same time. Then, a bit happy in the hat, we went over to Brixton. In Brixon thugs and hip hopers where everywhere but we made it up to the Academy when we found out that the gig was cancelled! Angry thugs where shouting “Give me Mike Skinner NOW! Im gonna beat him up!” and me and IL felt it was time to leave. So instead of seeing the little white Brixtonian we went to Clapham Junction for some pints at the Falcon and then home. I was supposed to sleep at ILs but took a taxi home instead (saving money? Noooo…maybe tomorrow).

Today Im bit tired but ok. Going to a bdayparty tonight where I basically dont know anyone (AJ’s side of the family) sooo…thats gonna be fun…

When I got in to the office today, my mailbox was , as usual filled with spam. I have now decided to make a list of my favourite spam elmails:

1. With Viagra, Santa can fuck both housewife and daughter

2. You can now go to your local pool, cause you know you got a big tool.

3. Give woman the first thing she expects from you - the unforgetable pleasure.

4. You can be the best bed partner ever with our natural male assistant.

Nice…I just wonder WHO has that job? To come up with things like this? Weird…

And to finish up todays kind of pointless post, I got a mail from my old friend CC who told me to check out the post “Fotobevis” on the blog http://www.1000apor.se/blogs/stureplansvackraste and what do we see?? Oh, yeah, V!! Im not gonna write a load of crap about him in my blog, but to be fair, he might be one of the most annoying people Ive ever met in my life. And to Lilis, CC and J, YOU know what Im talking about!

Cheers

That short little elf creep me out

I am once again sorry for not posting very much latley. Im blaming work. Had a rather nice, but dull weekend in…again. Due to no money me and AJ stayed in all weekend. Well AJ’s friend R came by on friday night and I really liked him. Hes very funny and all. So that was nice. Yesterday I went through the BIG test with dinner with AJs mum and his brother N. I think I passed thou. Today I found out that im from now on and a couple a weeks going, are going to sit in the reception until they find a replacement for our current receptionist who’s sadly leaving on wednesday. This means I will have two jobs at the same time! AND start earlier, but leave the same time as usual! Wohoo! No but seriously, Im quite happy about it. Will give me more stuff to do. The thing is that its temporary so it can be that I will sit there for a week or for three months. You never really know…

On thursday on the train home btw, I sat opposite to the gayest boy in Surrey. He was talking loudly on the phone. Now about people talking on the phone on public transports…I have to confess that Im quite annoying mysefl, cause I have the bad habit of reading magazines over other passangers shoulders. Well, actually I also read ipods, phones, newspapers and so on. I hate hate hate when people do this to me, but its a bad behaviour thats very hard to get rid of! I do die a little everytime I do it, but it feels sooo good! That feeling that you think that your fellow passanger doesnt notice, but off course they do, every time!

ANYWAY! My point was that even if im annoying in that way, I NEVER use my phone on the train. Even if someone would call me I would then anwser and say that Ill call them back. Thats how annoying I find that behaviour. And it seemed like this little boy had no thoughts about it at all! Apparently he works as a hairdresser and said following qoutes:

“Ive given like six haircuts today! Its like so hard, thou!”

“My new house is well nice”

“She’s, like, sooo nice”

“See you on sunday then, yeah? Bye!” (the “bye” part was in falsetto.)

I was laughing so hard I had to hide behind a book.

So…time for getting the story together ie wtf about my title? Let me tell you a story of creepy short people, or one in particular.
Every day I change my train in Clapham Junction and every day on my way home I see this very very short person that is wearing a hooded, military patterned coat and very baggy jeans. I always thought that this little person was a boy, but no. Last week I saw the mystery figure take off the hood and it turned out to be a 35-ish woman with mousy hair and librarian glasses. Was a bit surprised, must say. Anyway, got on the train and managed to get a seat. Looked up and shortie was standing there and she gave me a look that creeped me out! And then I saw it…her nails (real ones, no plastic) was long and sharpened! Talk about scary! I felt like she was gonna jump me and claw my eyes out with those things! God knows she can!

Im having quite a busy week this week. Today is grocery shopping and cooking for that “im-eating-for-three-people”-boyfriend I have and thats gonna take time.
Tuesday its meetings and meetings, deciding my future. On wednesday Im going to an expo, should be…fun? And then I have a meeting discussing mortgages (grown-up points!!). Thursday is my first day in the reception and the “The Streets” concert Im going to with IL. Friday is bday thing for J and saturday possible hangout with Matt??

Ah, life!

Nightmare!

Woke up at 5 this morning by something crawling in my ear so i took it out and in my sleep/awake state I thought it was earwax (cause that usually crawls around in ones ear) and then I smashed it between my fingers and then I realised I had blod on my fingers and had just smashed a bug thats just ben sucking my blood…tried to sleep the rest of the three hours i had before the alarm went off, with my hands covering my ears. Didnt work to well so now im tired as hell and have to play George W Bush in search of Usama tonight ie spray the whole room with bugspray to kill those suckers. Sometimes i really hate living in this country. This would so not happen in Sweden!

Even Celebs feel the credit crunch

Have been thinking of celebs and how they cope with the credit crunch.
Well we got Johnny Rotten doing ads for “Countrylife Butter” and Ringo Star, Bruce Willis and Alice Cooper (amongst others)  doing ads for an inurande company! And lets not forget Samuel L Jackson’s ads for Virgin Broadband!
It feels a bit like they are selling their souls, but on the other hand after that shit of a movie about a plane with snakes on it, Mr Jackson had it coming.
What I dont understand is Ringo Star. Now, surely he must have more than enough cash to live a luxury life? And hes always been the Beatle that you hardly knew was dead or alive cause he was so secretive, but now? Seriously?
It feels wrong. Sure, if Kerry “im-so-annoying-i-could-die” Katona sells her soul to TV ads, but Ringo? Kerry have chosen (or that was her only choice one could belive) Iceland for the keeper of her soul.
Iceland, btw for you that didnt know, is a pikey store where all the food is frozen microwave food. Niice.

I realise that the reson for celeb doing this is not for that Mr Rotten feels its important with good butter or Bruce Willis wanting to tell the good things with changing the name of a company, no, in thje end its all about money. BIG money. To squeeze in Ringo Star, Bruce Willis, Elle McPherson, Alice Cooper and Dame Edna in the same ad must have cost milions and milions. All to announce that a company is changing its name. Wait! Could all these money been used in a much better way? Like charity or whatever?
No, lets give them to the celebs cause THEY certainly dont have enough money! Well, Kerry Katona doesnt, but shes not a proper celeb now is she?

Anyway, I would like to mention the obvious. Yesterday we finally god rid of George W Bush for real and Obama took the post as president. I saw his speech in the telly and it was weird that for the first time in 8 years America have a president that actually can pronounce all the words in said speech and understand them! Who could forget favourites like “fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice…shame on…me?” and “I just pooped my pants”. Ok the last one I made up but still! The first one is genuine! HA!

See ya!

Bad Bloghost

Ive been a baaad bloghost, and not in the naughty way. I have simply not been uppdating enough latley. This has to do with work and nothing else., Well yesterday I found out some rather disturbing news which made me go home and cry my eyes out the rest of the afternoon. My boss, sweet man, let me work from home and i spent the rest of the afternoon watching “A place in The Sun” and other shitty programs while having my sweet laptop in my er…lap answering my emails and sulking away.

Today Im back at work and I just want to go home. Will off course stay the whole day. Cant run home every day! If I did I think I would in the end just stay at home due to no job. Its bloody awful to think about all the people thats been axed latley. Everytime my boss says “I need to talk to you” I get all sweaty and think he’s gonna axe me. Wellwell…

The person I miss the most at the moment is IL. We never see eachother nowdays thanks to me being poor living in Suburbia. Me and AJ is basically screwed when it comes to moving…its winning the lottery that we’re hoping on now.

I had such a good idea for this blogpost but the only thing I can remeber at the moment is that FUCKING bananaeater I had to sit next to in the train. Do they read my blog and then seek me out just to annoy me? Must be. Im sure of it. They  probably have a secret society where they have file cabinets covering the walls of all the people hating “public banana eaters” and then they strike, but not to often for us to suspect something. I KNEW it! “The secret society of eating bananas in public”-TSSoEBiP, called, is amongst us. You cant trust anyone!

Same, same!

I just remebered that when I lived in Stockholm, I used to have a neighbour that lived one or two levels above me and she used to sing very late at night and very early on weekend mornings. And she was dreadful! It was absolute crap! People that came over wondered what that weird sound was that sounded a bit like Lena Philipssons latest hit. So on weekdays when you try to go to sleep due to the fact that you have to get up at seven the next morning teaching kids history or math or whatever, then she starts. And my god she kept us all awake (we lived at least two, often three in the flat). But the absolute worst is waking up at NINE in the morning on a sunday with a hangover from hell, hearing her sing Carola!

So why did I remeber this fact? Oh, because a person in my life that I dont really know is singing right now. In a moderate painful way. Btw: Al, you shut up about this!

Also strange things about my flat in sthlm:

1. There was a  man that lived in the house across the very small yard we had outside. This man used to walk around naked in his flat, but he only showed himself for other people that happened to be in the flat. I saw him once very quickly, otherwise it was visiting friends and family that saw him. Like a human ghost thats only showing sometimes.

2. There was an 87 year old man that asked me to marry him at least 20 times and who, I found out later, have had 2 wifes for 30 years without them knowing about eachother.

3. The couple that had their bedroomwindow about half a meter from our livingroom window. During the summer nights we sat in that window smoking. Alot. And they had very loud sex with the window open. Alot.

Ah, the memories of Stockholm. I kind of miss it, but then I remeber that I live in London and then everything feels much better.

“Human shit”-a bedtimestory of the London officeworkers

I was walking down the platform of nine and three quaters, thou thats the nearest I have to work. Anyway. I went down the stairs with Buddy Holly’s “Early in the Morning” in my ears and a coffe in my hand ready to take on the day! Do something important! Show the world! And so on. When I came to the stairs I carefully went down these not to tip my coffe over and spill coffe over me and then look like a drooling buffoon!

When I got to the bottom of the stairs was the first thing I saw a human, slightly loose, pile of shit. I big pile of shit to start my day was like a warning of how the rest of the day would turn out. Shit.

End of Story

Yellow shirt?

The other day I had a minor interesting discussion about if anyone has worn a bright yellow shirt for real since -95 and the conclusion was neh, no way. Until today that is… I saw a young otherwise “fashionable” guy wearing one! He looked like an extra from “Full House”, if anyone remebers that TV show. Ah, DJ and lil sis Jess and the first start of the career of the evil twins Olsen. Anyway, am I way off line when Im a bit surprised of thís yellow shirt thing? Just realised that I sound like a mildly bad “fashion blogger”! Must stop now!

Yesterday all the girls in the office had an massemail snet out asking us to list our top 10 hollywood hotties. Ours lists where then concluded to one list. George Clooney was in the top with 6 votes, and thats ok, but so was Brad Pitt! Brad Pitt looks like a ken doll that seen better days! Def not a hottie in my eyes. Well he used to be, but now? Ich dont think so! Also Mathew McConaughey was on that list! Im sorry but I can only agree with Family Guys opinion about him. Annoying.

Otherwise in my so so interesting life, ive got bedbugs again! Well they are probably dead now after the furious fumegating that AJ did the other day. Havent got bitten since, but as always those buggers can come back just like that so we are gonna buy some more stuff and play the American Govnerment and kill anything that  crawls.

Now work…hm…

Hey…hey there…

Maybe you wonder why I have been updating so badly lately?  Ah, well the reason for that my friends is that I’m not exactly aloud to be online at work anymore. Right now thou, I’m having a short break from translating a document with 1300 words and phrases. The thing is it needs to be done by Friday, so the only option is to do them asap. And it takes time. A lot of time.

Anyway it probably have happened funny and interesting things in my life the latest days, but I can come up with any refreshing thoughts at the moment, so for now, I’m just going in to say: “hey, I’m still here, buddy. I will be back properly soon, keep your faith in me and I will keep mine in yours!”

Bye bye now

Is it possible to live in a cloud?…

…cause if it is, I think I do.

London is foggy, grey and rainy. Is not that kind of rain that heavily falls down, no, its the other kind. Small, small drops from all angles. You dont really notice it at first but then you realise it has been creeping in, going through your clothes and making your skin ice cold…and moist. And i dont mean moist as in handcream, I mean moist as in dead body thats been outside for three days.

Its been a pretty bland week I have to say. Had a nice weekend thou. On Friday, I met up with IL and we had a few in Kingston. God I miss hanging out with her! Already have plans for next weekend, haha! Then I had to hangout with AJ and his workmates…some of them I really like and some of them are just weird.

On saturday I took the train all the way into waterloo (cost me £6.40 for a return ticket! Outrageous!) to meet up with John, that was late as usual. Tried to find seats in Costa but they where all taken so I had to sit on their tables “outside”. By “outside” i mean that I was actually sitting in waterloo station, but outside if the cafe. The problem with Waterloo st is that the most od the space is outside but inside. I mean, between two buildings with a roof ontop. You would think it should be even a little bit warm in there? No no, it was cold as hell. Hell is not hot, hell is cold btw. Says the new article of a group of british scientists…

Anyway, John did show up in the end and we started walking towards Tate Modern. Went past an art gallery on the way, being artsy fartsy pretending we actually know anything about the subject. We ended up on Starbucks by the Globe, freezing and with shaking red cold hands we paid for our coffee.

When we parted I threw myself up on a bus back to the station (no way I was walking back in that weather) and John went off to a 1920’s party. Back home I kicked AJ’s as at Wii bowling and the watched “The Goonies”. Im a bit too young to remember “The Goonies” from when I was a kid, so Ive never seen it. Was brilliant thou! Totally insane with kids screaming and running around, but Sean Austin was without a doubt the coolest and cutest (awwww!) childstar ever! And I dont even like childstars, they usually  creep me out… Also saw “Meet the Spartans” and that was just a big waste of money. Seriously! But so was “Bring it On 2″ but that was made as well…

Sunday was very lazy. Lots and lots of Wii and now Im once again at the office with a slight back pain. Managed to get halfway to PRO on golf thou! Golf, what an insanely boring game…

Anyway, thats my life up til now. And now. And NOW!

Bye
